I just went to check out the green beans and they must of grown 3 inches in like 2 days! I have so many of them. I use to can them, but gave up since they just never turn out right. So I freeze a ton of them and give away a bunch. Just was not ready to have so many so soon.

I'd give my firstborn for some fresh beans or any veggie. It's been so hot and dry here ,nothing we planted is doing any good.Where do you live?...
That store bought stuff is just not the same.

I live in MN near the Twin Cities. We were going to have a bunch tonight for supper when DH said, "I want McD's". Of course there went my supper .

Time to dig out all those free B & D Foodsaver bags

Have you tried drying any of them??? If they are stringless, you can wash them, cut them and dry them in the dehydrator Just make sure you blanche them for about 5 minutes before you put them in it
