I have sold 41 pumpkins in the last 24 hours. YAY!

Getting them for practically nothing and making a nice profit for my kids to add to the Church Youth fundraiser. We are going to Branson in June.

Way to Go! I grew up on a huge farm in VA and one year my dad got on the news with all his pumpkins and talked about him selling them. We were so excited. My dad was so in the local newspaper for being generation of a farmer and I made that picture with him as I just happen to come home from school at the right time and asked if I would be in the picture too. LOL My dad had 200 pumpkins that year and he let the school children come for a field trip and pick a pumpkin at no charge. My dad does that a lot give it away that is. He makes me proud.

We didnt do pumpkins this year but we had 1 vine pop up anyway so we have 2 little pumpkins sitting on our porch! Our chickens keep pecking at them!

I am about 30 minutes from Hope. Home of the Hope Watermelons.

I am looking for donated blue and red pumpkin seeds for next year if anyone is interested in donating or trading the seeds from their store bought pumpkins for next year. I have plenty of connecticut and jack o lantern seeds.

Most of the kids in our surrounding neighborhood do not get a summer vacation. The trip is going to be in June when school gets out and their parents can come. The church will pay for hotel and food but the kids are earning money for tickets to "Noahs Ark." I had a lady buy pumpkins yesterday who said her daughter and sil just got back from the musical and they said it was "awesome." If you go she said they did not like the balconey seating as well because you were looking down on the action, but the regular seating is tightly packed and she said her daughters knees were against the chair below.

We had lots of request for Blue (jarrahdale) and red (cinderella/rouge vif'd Etampes) pumpkins. The same farmer is going to donate pumpkins to me next year and dh is going to try and grow some of the rare blue and red pumpkins.
