| What's for Dinner?: 6/4/12
Today is the first day of our summer program at church called Kid's Day Out. My kids go twice a week for a few hours so I can work. We're already running late... We are having Garlic & Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders tonight (inspired by Pinterest & Food.com). We'll have rice or noodles with it along with a veggie. What's for dinner at your house tonight?

We got invited to a friend's for dinner. Not sure what she's making yet. I was put in charge of dessert. Problem is, she doesn't eat chocolate! So...I made a caramel vanilla ice cream cake. It looks so good  image-1749592666.jpg |

Good Morning, I have a potroast with all the trimmings in the crockpot. Will have greenbeans and baked mac & cheese to go along with it. Homemade cake & icecream for dessert. Have a great day!

raining today so taking it easy. Will be making lamb chops with rice pilaf(sp?) for fiance and I. For my daughter i'll be making some pasta with shredded mozzarella for her. contemplating whether or not i want to make rolls to go with dinner.

It's already hot outside so there's no sense in heating up the kitchen. We are having sub sandwiches, chips & fruit salad.

Pork Carnitas! Making fresh salsa and guacamole to go with it. Yum, yum. Brie - you've mentioned before that these are a favorite at your house. Do you mind sharing how you cook the meat? I blended garlic, cumin, oregano, chipotles in adobo sauce, and lime juice in the food processor and covered the meat with it and have it cooking in the crok pot.

We are having lasagna tonight. But instead of layering it, I'm gonna roll up the noodles. I'm serving breadsticks with it. Then we'll probably head outside to play and eat Popsicles!

I am doing Bacon Burgers on the grill and we will have fries and fresh veggies with them. I am loving the gorgeous weather we are having cause I don't have to turn the oven on.

It is muggy here and have chance of rain every day this week which equals hot, humid and miserable. I am not sure what I want to have tonight but we are eating dessert first (fat free strawberry jello)! I am thinking the BLT sounds good so that's what it will be. |

I love this thread and had forgotten about it. We are having braised beef or smothered steak depending on what you call in over mashed potatoes and cookies for dessert. This is a meal I'm trying out since I'm planning to start doing some freezer cooking. I want to try them out before I make big batches and we don't like it. It smells wonderful.
