| What's for Dinner?: 5/23/12
All my babies are out of school!!! Woohoo! After a few errands, I think we're getting out the sprinkler! We're having Mexican Lasagna for dinner. I've been looking forward to this one all month! What's for dinner at your house?

Good Morning. We're expecting temps in the 80's today. I have been craving seafood, so tonight we are having; crab balls, fried fish and shrimp, cornbread, salad and french fries. I got a good deal on crabmeat last friday as Sam's was marking down meat. Have a great day!

Good afternoon! I'm thinking of trying the Pioneer Woman's Sloppy Joes tonight, but maybe I should go check out Brie's recipe first! Not sure on sides, maybe corn or fries?? Have a great day! |

The recipe that I posted isn't regular sloppy joes. It's a ground beef version of Philly Cheesesteak.

Oh.... Change of plans... to Pioneer Woman's "Sloppy Joes". My recipe is very similar to Pioneer Woman's but I'm sure hers is better. Will have cole slaw and corn on the cob, too.

We're having homemade pizza and salad tonight. The last time that I made pizza I doubled the recipe and froze the dough in a few portions with some veggies-so I just have to pull it out of the freezer. Nice when I don't feel like preparing and cleaning up much. |

I'm going out with dh to meet up with the home brew club, we usually have pizza there. The kids will have whatever they want, there are leftovers in the fridge but they usually want ramen noodles . I'm just glad I don't have to cook....I need to remember to freeze the meat I picked up on sale yesterday. We have a busy weekend so won't be cooking much. Can't tell you how happy I am about that Tomorrow I will cook but Friday, Sat and Sun we will be going to friends houses, get togethers, parties, etc so no cooking again until Monday. YIPPEE! Feels like Christmas !

2.5-3 cups flour 1 package of yeast .5 tsp salt 1 cup warm water 2 TBSP olive oil Just follow normal pizza dough directions. I also add some garlic powder and oregano into the dough sometimes. The best pizza dough that I ever made came from a recipe that I had for artisan bread that you keep in the fridge. I just used it as pizza dough instead of bread, but I don't make it because when I do-we eat too much of it. |
