It's going to be raining all day here, and it's a little cooler than the last couple of weeks. Actually a good thing for someone with a broken air conditioner! I think I'm going to splurge on some crab legs for dinner. I've been craving them BIG time! $6.99 a pound isn't too bad, and I even have a $2/$10 seafood coupon I can use with it. We'll have corn on the cob, red potatoes, and some sausage with it. What's for dinner at your house today?

I think I'll make a big pot of chili for dinner tonight. We'll have noodles and salad along side, then use some of the leftovers Wednesday or Thursday for chili dogs! Happy Monday all!!! |

It's in the 80's here in Mass so we are going to have bacon cheeseburgers, potato salad and corn on the cob! Can't wait for dinner! Yummy. Happy Monday!

It's a beautiful sunny 85 degrees today. Tonight is chicken cesar salad, garlic bread and sweet tea. I made cupcakes this morning for dessert, will have that with icecream. Have a great day.

It's been pouring down rain here alllllll dayyyyyy longggggg  ! I have chicken breasts defrosted and broccoli that needs to get cooked so either doing grilled chicken breasts, broccoli and rice or a pasta dish I made up that has chunks of grilled chicken, broccoli and bite sized pasta with a light and semi healthy "creamy" alfredo style sauce. The sauce is made with garlic, olive oil, fat free half and half, a little butter, maybe a little sour cream or cream cheese and a sprinkle of parmesan. Everyone loves it, it's simple to make and the kids always eat it up.

oh so good! 1 can cream corn 2/3c shredded cheese 1/4c onion 1/2c celery (I usually dont put this in) 2 table. butter 2 beaten eggs 1 tea salt 1/4 tea paprika 1c milk I top mine with crushed crackers or Panko mix all together, pour into baking dish bake at 350 for 45-50 mins

We tried a new recipe, Ranch Beef and Noodle Skillet, along with broccoli and cauliflower with cheese sauce and some yeast rolls. It was ok, but sort of like a homemade version of Hamburger Helper. Just had some ice cream for my dessert. Good night all! |

I guess I forgot to say what was for supper earlier. We tried a new recipe from allrecipes to use some more Easter ham but I don't remember the name. It was angel hair pasta with cream of mushroom soup, ham, cheese and some other things. It was easy, quick and tasty.
