Ive made this brownie recipe 2x and both times it came out delish! It has more of a fudge consistency which I loooove.
My kids beg for these, and they know the spinach and beans are in there, but they dont care at all!

Triple Chocolate Surprise Brownies
1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained <--YES! Beans, not a typo
2 tablespoons light olive oil OR melted butter
1/2 cup thawed and squeezed dry frozen spinach <--YES! again, not a typo
1/4 cup applesauce
3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 tablespoons instant espresso powder
3 ounceschopped bittersweet chocolate
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoonsalt
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350.
*Put black beans, olive oil, spinach, applesauce, eggs, egg yolk, sugar, cocoa, and espresso powder in a food processor; pulse for 1 minute or until smooth.
*Microwave bittersweet chocolate and butter in a glass bowl, stirring every 30 seconds or until smooth; cool for 5 minutes.
*Add chocolate, vanilla extract, and salt to processor; pulse to blend. *Transfer to a bowl.
*Stir in flour and mini chocolate chips.
*Pour into an oiled 9- x 13-inch pan; top with chopped pecans.
*Bake for 25-30 minutes; cool for 15 minutes.

Chocolate Fillers
3/4 c butter or margarine, softened
1 c brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 c a.p flour
1 c quick cook oats
1 {14 oz} can sweetened condensed milk
1 c chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 deg
Cream butter with sugar and salt. Blend in flour and oats until particles are fine. Press about 2/3 mixture into bottom of greased 13x9" pan.
Heat condensed milk in saucepan, stir in chips. Mix until all chips are melted.
Spread chocolate evenly over mixture in pan.
Sprinkle with remaining crumbs, press down lightly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until light golden brown.

Review: Just made these for the first time today, oh my word! Sooo good.
Extremely decadent, so you will need a big, icy cold glass of milk.
They are chewy on the bottom and gooey in the center. Yum yum yum.

These are one of my favorites, Instead of baking them my grandma steams them. You can also freeze them, and when you want to eat one just put in in the microwave for a minute and a half.
