| Friday 1/13/12 Good Morning, It's sunny but chilly. Our high today will be 70 with a cold front coming through. Dinner tonite will be pan fried flounder, roasted potato quarters, and broccoli. Oatmeal raisin cookies for dessert. Have a lovely Friday.  |

We have snow, and wind, and a winter weather advisory, at last! There isn't supposed to be a lot of snow but the wind is making it extra blustery. I'm watching the grandkids today - I am thinking of KFC, Chinese food or spaghetti & meatballs - I'll let them take a vote after school. We'll have a movie night and watch Dolphin Tale. |

We actually had a freeze last night. It was in the mid-upper 20s most of the night. We had to go pick all the oranges and cover the tomatoes and set up a space heater for them last night so they didn't freeze.  I just want to stay home and make soup but nope....Daughter has a swim meet this afternoon/evening and all weekend. Tonight will be 5 Guys Burgers and Fries (hubby's choice) after the meet is over. It's one of his favorite places so I don't ever say anything to him but it's not a good choice for me being diabetic. *I will not eat the cajun fries....I will not eat the cajun fries

Good Morning! It is very chilly and blustery here. Only supposed to get colder as the day goes on! DD and I will be making homemade pizza tonight! We love doing this. Chopping up all the veggies and making our own just the way we like them. I make them like the pizza for one size! DH will be working until 11. We will make him one, just wait til he leaves work to put it in the oven. |

Going to make chili as well with ground turkey and two different kinds of beans. Also going to make my a batch of pork fried rice to eat on for the weekend. Happy Friday!! |

We're having marinated london broil done in the...broiler, brandied mushrooms, duck fat frites, and green beans. I saved a ton of duck fat from confit that I made and I have been so busy I haven't made anything fancy enough to make use of it yet. DH's parents are coming in a few hours to watch DD because we are going to New Orleans tomorrow morning - woot!

Only me for dinner again tonight so I have no idea what I'm having. I will be running past the grocery store to use my Nabisco coupons so maybe I'll get some inspiration while I'm there!

It is cold and the wind is brutal....  Today is my second DD's birthday. She turns 17 today. Per her request, dinner will be chicken parmesan, salad, and some type of pasta and breadsticks. I made a double batch of brownies with peanut butter chips in it for dessert.

Made a 5qt crock of homemade spaghetti sauce: tomatoes, paste, sauce, red wine, garlic, onions, all kinds of herbs and spices, fresh basil, ground chuck. So spaghetti tonight while I'm at work. Lots left to freeze! Love my crockpot!

Tonight was a mix and match for dinner here. My DH and one DD had tomato soup and grilled chesse. I had fried Bologna and eggs. My other DD had ramen noodles . I forgot to take out my chicken so thats what we came up with. Hope everyone is staying warm!

Just DH and I tonight so not sure yet probably something easy. I need to start watching salt and wouldn't you know it almost everything in my stockpile is loaded with salt . I am not a veggie person so this is going to be a challenge. Btw had salad last night because the hamburger helper had 640 of salt!!!!!
