Welcome to all the new posters! Please come back and share your dinner ideas. It's so much fun to see what others are cooking.

We got our veggies too late yesterday to add to last night's dinner. There was some good stuff in there, though, so I plan to use some tonight. I'm going to saute the kale, I think. Will have to look for a recipe. Also got beets, avocados, eggplants, tomatoes, green onions, and fancy lettuces. An embarrassment of riches!

Dinner tonite will be baked chicken breast, the kale, and some of the others to be determined.

Your veggie haul sounds awesome! I like to roast my kale and my beet greens. Just drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt -spread it out in a single layer on cookie sheets and roast in a 425 degree oven until the edges of the leaves turn a little crispy brown. Better than potato chips IMO - and so good for you.

I haven't decided on dinner yet. But, I'm thinking maybe chicken enchiladas with the leftover roast chicken from last night. Or, if my store has any fresh Corvina left that was advertised this week, maybe I'll do that with a pecan crust. Not sure if I'm in the mood for fish though, its pretty chilly here today - right now its only 33 degrees. Brrr

Tonight we are ordering in pizza, wings and bread sticks. Still have a lot to do for the Christmas party DH is doing tomorrow.

My dinner plans for the last 2 nights had changed at the last minute--unexpected Christmas shopping/package picking-up! So fast food on Wednesday and a "fend for yourself" day yesterday. Good thing about that is less groceries to buy this weekend!

On Fridays we typically go out to eat. I'm thinking Mexican tonight.

I have got to shop for Jesus birthday party I'm throwing tomorrow so thinking it's fend for your self night! I'll be cooking all morning tomorrow :P We have frozen pizza and lasagna or sandwiches, hotdogs, cereal, tuna ect... Think the dh can manage for one night

TGIF......not sure what is on the menu for tonight! DH wants a "cheat night" from our healthy diet....I know such a hard time to diet! So, we will see what develops!

All week long I've been posting that we're having beef stroganoff for dinner and then dinner rolls around and plans change...well tonight we're actually having it! I put the ingredients in the crockpot before I left for work, yay!

I'm going with a chicken and raisin pilaf dish, tonight. Carrots and onions are in it already but I think I'll do a side of broccoli with lemon, too.

Sunshine what a nice treat. It sure puts a smile on my face and I feel more awake.

Not much on the agenda today but we'll stop by the library for sure.

Rainy fresh vegetables so tasty. I'd like to try making kale,mustard greens, collard greens. So embarrassing us northerners. Years ago I had a taste of collards and they were smothered with so much bacon etc that I couldn't taste them.

Dinner is lemon chicken and with multi grain rice and stirfry vegetables. DS will have gyros.

I made a big pot of chili. After dinner we are going to drive around town with the grands & look at Christmas lights.

To celebrate being finished with exams my bf and I went to South Depot. Its a really cool taco shop that is set up kind of like Subway. It was delicious

We had a Holiday Party at work which was catered by Mortons. Yummy filet sandwiches, crabcakes, lamb chops, chicken and shrimp the size of your fist.
