| Monday 11/28/11 Good Morning, It's sunny with a high in the 80's this afternoon. Calling for showers, though. Hope so. We have just a few errands this morning and then I'll finish up the laundry. Dinner tonite will be a roast with potatoes, onions, and carrots. Orange jello with pineapple for dessert. Enjoy your day!  |

Good morning everyone! Today we will be having a miss match of stuff  . I want to empty the freezer out so we might have Pork chops, ribs and chicken. There's one pack of everything not enough for 4 people so we will have a buffet hey that will work . most likely will have potatoes and a veg. Hope everyone has a great day!

Yikes...it's noon and haven't even thought about dinner....made bean soup yesterday but don't think they'll go for having it again tonite...guess I better check the freezer...it's cold here in TX. Have a great day!!!

We are having a rainy Monday....so no plans to go out of the house! Will work on my decorating and I have a big pot of turkey rice soup for dinner! Still have some leftovers....if anyone wants something to go with their soup!

All the kiddos went back to their respective schools last night but we still have the new puppy and our 7 month old puppy to contend with with getting them back onto a system now that everyone is gone! WHEW! The weather has also turned colder so I think a pot of chili will be quick and easy, and warm us from the inside out! YUM!

Its finally far enough removed from T-day to be able to think about eating up those leftovers. So, we will have open faced turkey sandwiches with stuffing and lots of gravy. I do have to make a fresh batch of mashed potatoes (since they were all eaten) and a fresh batch of gravy though. So, not a easy as it could be.

Then bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on the next slice. Then topped with the last slice of bread, cut into fourths and served it up with cole slaw. Pretty tasty. If the "real" sandwich is different I would love to know how to make it. Hmm...I think a good pickle would have been nice with it. Thank you! |
