Good Morning Friends,

It's a lazy Saturday here. Hubby has World Cup soccer games to watch and I'll keep myself busy with a book and the computer. It's overcast and steamy. Not sure about the rain situation but I think I can count on a thunderstorm or two.

Dinner will be Italian sausage sandwiches, marinated cucumbers/onions, and sliced tomatoes. Peach ice cream for dessert.

We are having a big eat together. I know there will be pizza, fried chicken, grilled chicken, slaw, potatoes, all kinds of dessert, watermelon....LOTS!!

Our street is part of the staging area for our village's 4th of July parade. Right now, in front of my house is the Humane Society & a German Shepherd rescue group with 8 beautiful dogs. I can hear the drums & flutes of one of the marching bands. LOTS of Cub Scouts! Fun day!

I think we are having Italian sausages as well, peppers & onions, corn on the cob, and brownies for dessert. We'll be watching the Nascar boys race at Daytona.

I will be working until 7pm so I prepared burritos for the family to heat up when they are hungry.

We're going to grill some t-bone steaks that I bought yesterday. We also have potatoes and onions out of the garden. I thought I'd slice those up and roast them. Maybe a salad to go along with it.

Were having spiral cut glazed ham (Costco ) potatoes casserole,green beans and salad.

We are grilling blackened swordfish with mango salsa and NY strip steaks. Making baked potatoes, corn on the cob and a garden salad. Dessert is a flag cake and watermelon.

It's just DD and I tonight so I was thing of making omelets for dinner. Hers will have spinach(she loves it...weird I know because no one in our family likes it!), and cheese. Mine will have ham chesse and little bit of onion in it. I might also fix a bowl of cereal if I am not full after the omelet.
