| Sun Pickles
Sun Pickles l cup vinegar 3 cups water 1 large head of dill 5 cloves of garlic 1/4 cup salt hot peppers to taste small whole cucumbers (I have also used sliced cucumbers) Mix salt, vinegar and water together until salt is dissolved. Place small whole cucumbers in a gallon jar along with head of dill, garlic cloves, hot peppers. Pour liquid over pickles, screw lid on tight and place jar in the sun for seven days. Be sure and shake the jar each day. Notes: You can also use mustard seed, pepper corns, grape leaves, onion etc. Let your imagination go wild.
