I have noticed this is one of the things we tend to buy a TON OF...and dont really get all that great of a deal on. Any Suggestions on a good way to make my own APPLE JUICE. My son drinks this more than he does Milk. We have tried to water down not only for high sugar reasons but as well as for making it last longer and he notices the water in it and wont drink it LOL.... Please help me out.

I used to make apple juice every summer and it sure beats the store bought, altho it has more pulp. I bought a juicer. The brand was Champion, but there are several good brands. They do cost $xxx, but it can be used for so many other types of juices as well and once you start juicing you'll probably be thrilled. I believe the main thing to watch for is where the pulp goes, because if it just piles up in the juicer, you have to empty it so often during the juicing process. But if it shoots out and you collect it in a bowl, you can juice many more apples, or carrots or whatever. Carrot and apple juice mixed is wonderfullllllllllllllllll!!!! The brand that costs $xx will probably get the job done, but will need to be emptied more frequently.

Take this for what it's worth, but kids don't actually need juice. Switch to *free* water & save a lot of money, empty calories, and sticky floors ![]() |
