There's a cooling trend from some big storm up north headed for us so our temps are in the 70's today and we might even get some rain. Yay, I love the rain. We're going to a concert of Broadway tunes at the Philharmonic tonite and I'm hoping we go out for dinner beforehand, too. Not sure what else is on the agenda today. Hopefully, I can sit on the lanai and watch it rain.

Wednesday is always Mexican night at our house. Tacos, burritos, nachos, etc. Basically all the same toppings in/on different tortillas and chips.

I planned for whole chicken, but I totally forgot to buy it last time we went to grocery shopping, so I am going to follow the same recipe with chicken legs. (they were on sale. Yeah, I remembered to buy the sale item, but forgot to buy what was on my menu. ) Do you think that will turn out alrigth?
ANd, do you think I will have to adjust the tempture?
It's a rotessire chicken recipe done in the overn. I think 370 degrees for 90 min.

Hi,
We're having a crockpot meal ...15 bean soup, with ham shanks, and homemade cornbread.

It's frigid in MN today so we're having a nice hot meal that sticks to the ribs. Tator Tot Hotdish. I know people make it many different ways but here's mine: 1# of cooked hamburger, 1 can of cream of mushroom, 1 heaping cup of mixed veggies (peas, corn, carrots, green beans, lima beans) a little milk to reduce soup and salt & pepper to taste. Top with tator tots and bake for 30-40 minutes @ 375 or until bubbling.

My DH is working really late tonight, broadcasting a basketball game that doesn't even start until 7:00, so it is just the kiddos and I. I think I am going to go really easy- hot dogs & macaroni and cheese.
