Recipe for those free Planter's peanuts and cheap Peter Pan pb!!!
PAYDAY CANDY BARS
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup peanuts (without skins)
4 cups rice Chex cereal

Combine corn syrup and sugar. Heat to 240 degrees (soft ball stage); stir frequently. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until blended. In seperate bowl combine cereal and peanuts. Pour pb mixture over cereal and stir gently. Press into greased 9X13 inch pan. Cool completely. Cut into squares.

I make this during the holidays and give to coworkers and family with cookie trays. Of all the candies that I make this is what they like most! The Chex cereals are usually on sale around the holiday season too!
