| What's for Dinner (Thursday, August 7) I got a beautiful ham the other day so will bake that and also have corn on the cob (if I can find some while I'm out), and broccoli. Must get my hair cut this morning and also check out a couple grocery stores. Very hot and humid in Paradise so I don't plan to dawdle. What's the temperature in your neck of the woods? |

| We are having spagetti. I finally found a way to fix it that my DD will eat it. I almost freaked when I walked into Food Lion this afternoon and all of the meat cases in the back were empty. Apparently the cases weren't working and they had to pull all of the lunchmeat, hotdogs, bacon, meat, etc and put in coolers in the back. Luckily they were just finishing up when I came in and I got one of the employees to get me a pack of ground beef. But I will have to wait to get the Ball Park Franks. |

| 90 today, Pork spare ribs, not sure about the side but I'm thinking corn or rice-a-roni. I slow cook them with a dry rub over about a half inch of water in the oven for a couple hours, then bbq sauce and about 15-20 minutes on the bbq, the meat falls off the bone and the kids love it. |
