When you type the name of the freebie (be specific and please spell correctly) in your title and then hit tab, a list of similar threads shows up. Please check them out to see if any are the same as what you are planning to post.

I try to search a couple of different ways because it doesn't always come up. I do my best not to double-post.
It's hard to find a deal that's not already here!

I have been guilty of reposts too. Sometimes people put things in the subject line that is not the products name. When I search, I always use the products name. Sometimes the name will show up but if it doesn't I figure it isn't a repost. That is not always the case.

Sometimes it helps it you try different spellings when you search. Example: for Fantastik you could try Fantastic. Sometimes it's posted with a misspelling so it might not match up in a search. The same goes for spaces-- if you post TicTacs as opposed to Tic Tacs, it might not show up as a match.

As stated earlier, make sure the offer is currently valid and if it's for a certain region or only for certain states, please state that in your post.
