Question Sales Tax in Colorado Springs

I can't figure out the sales tax in Colorado Springs, and google wasn't much help. Do you guys have any info?

At Albertson's, I paid zero tax on a $9.90 subtotal.
At Safeway, I paid 4 cents tax on a $1.47 subtotal.
At Sprouts, I paid 8 cents tax on a $17.25 subtotal.

However, the rate on restaurants, clothing, etc. seems up around 8%.

Not sure what the actual % is in the Springs BUT Colorado doesn't tax most food items. There are some odd small percentages charged for some foods. The tax in the Denver metro area is very diverse.
