So I asked at the Coborns on Cooper today in St Cloud for a little more explaination on the double coupons. I was told coupons up to .50 would double anything between .50 and a $1 would go up to a $1. So a coupon for .35 off would be good for .70 and a coupon for .60 off would be good for a $1 off.

Thanks - with my store is only doubling to 50 cents, there are not a lot of coupons out there worth my energy. Sorry you didn't find any awesome deals - I think when some good sales come up there might be some coupon match-ups to use - Hopefully!

I went to the Coborns on Cooper one day and the cashier told me she hated coupons, of course I had a stack and I said I didn't care. But that kind of irritated me and I don't care to shop there unless it's a terrific deal. I hope one of these days they have a really good deal, I feel like the double coupon Mondays are being wasted. I'm so happy to have a store around here that does it.

It is Coborns and as of now, it is on-going. I have not seen any kind of end-date.

The signs up in store say through 1/10/2010 - 12 weeks of savings are what they are calling it, so each Monday they will double up to 10 coupons, and depending on your store, either up to $1 or up to 50 cents.

ADDED: I forgot to mention, as far as I know it is just Coborn's, I don't have a Cashwise near me, so you could call and ask if they are doing it too, but I have only seen this from others that it is at Coborn's.

Checked through the ad for this week. I didn't see any screamin' deals for double coupons. But a couple that caught my eye.

Crystal Sugar on sale 2 for $3
coupons for .30 or .35 would double to .60 or .70

Mccormick stuff was on sale as well - don't remember the price or select varieties
Coupon for .50 would double for $1 off.

I used some .50 IPs on the .99 flour this week... but it was my first experience with the doubling/tripling (in my case) and I had some problems on my receipt. Maybe someone can answer my question...

When the coupon says Do not double, but starts with a 5, I've heard double-coupon stores' systems automatically double it, usually (so I've heard)... anyone know if Coborn's does that too? Has that worked for anyone? I'm afraid to ask them

I went to Coborns last night and just discovered the Monday double coupon offer. It would have been better on the Progresso soup offer. I bought 10 cans a soup because it was BOGO. I also used 5 coupons that were $.50 off 2. They all worked. I know some stores will not take coupons on the free item but they did. It would have been better if the $.50 coupons would have doubled.
