| Tried the $.98 Food club Ranch dip & sour cream...
Excellent! Stocked up...sour cream is already sour...so does it go bad?

Neat! Not sure if you were joking about the sour cream or not (hee hee) but if you need to use up a lot of it before a certain expiration date, a great way to do so is to find recipes that use it and are designed to be frozen (like Once a Month Cooking recipes). That can extend the life of those products by many months!
