Took the kids out for a walk this evening. My DD likes to run and sometimes I jog behind her with the stroller.

This time, I sprained my ankle pretty bad and went to the emergency room for an X-ray.

So that's where I've been all evening.

I came home with a splint, crutches and 12 Lortabs.

All I could think about was the auctions and AFC. At least I had my card and a GC to get my Rx at CVS! I made DH scan my card, but no Rx coupon.

It's going to be a rough couple of days here, and DH has to work this weekend!

Thank goodness I went to Target today, and used some of my $5/3 coupons, because there will be no shopping until the crutches are gone!

Girl you better get in one of those ridey carts at the store That's what I'd be doing! I sprained mine a few months ago it healed up in a couple weeks. I fell head over heals about halfway down my apartment stairs. Not even sure how it happened. I was carrying a bag of trash down and the next thing I know I'm flat on my back sideways at the bottom.... My ankle started hurting and the next day it swelled up so bad. I live alone so I had to sleep on the couch so I could hobble around and get myself some drinks and food still because my cats don't love me enough to help out I hope yours heals up quickly! At least you can laugh about it now. But you better not laugh at my story j/k

Hey, I made it through the night with no pain pills!

I'm hopping around with one crutch, trying not to trip over toys. My mom is coming over shortly to pick up DD, so I only have to deal with DS today.

Yeah, I'm staying at home until I can walk completely without the crutches. I'm not concerned with missing the deals, and my mom will pick up groceries if I need anything.

My kiddos are wild at the store, even under the best of circumstances!
