I ask ,because my son who is 11 told me that I was a twisted mom....

we heard the ice cream truck. and he reminded me that when he was smaller he asked what that music was ,and I told him it was the mosquito spray guy ,and that we needed to go inside the house....so each time he heard that music,he would run inside the house...only when he was 5 ,that he learned teh truth...


i sometimes used to move ahead all the clocks in the house,so the kids would go to sleep 30 mn earlier...

That is sooooo bad!

I told the ice cream guy not to come on my street anymore or I would call the cops for noise disturbance when my kids were little and taking a nap.

The idiot would come by the house around 2 pm EVERY day and the kids would wake up.

After I stopped him that once, he hasn't come back. The neigbor kids wondered why he still doesn't come down the street. My kids are now 12 and 14.

Too funny! One Christmas Eve Santa had to come very early(I had to work at the hospital Christmas morning) so we put them in bed like at 7 moved all the clocks up and as soon as the little guys were asleep Santa came and we woke them up. We were in bed by 11.
