As a fmaily we went to publix for the awesome, awesome Kraft BOGOs & I floored the store & DH with ym savings Then we went to a pool party at a family friends. The kids wore themselves out in the pool, we socialized, after dark the kids got spraklers & roasted marshmellows for smores. Late night we headed into downotwn to watch the fireworks. DD crashed about 5 minutes after we got in the car & slept through the fireworks. It was a great day for relaxing with fmaily & friends.

My 2yr old DS stepped on a piece of burnt off sparkler and got a nasty blister. Poor baby! No need to run to ER or Dr but it looks awful on his little footy Put a damper on the fireworks and 4th.

The blister is filled with pus and the skin has actually hardened a bit. He'll walk on his tippy-toes and is very conscious of his owie. He's such a trooper. He has handled this very well. Even when he gets sick, like vomiting, he's generally in very good spirits. I think we'll attempt to drain the blister tomorrow in hopes he can walk a little better and be able to go to daycare Monday.

We went too my dads for a cook out and fire works. And the kids played on the slip and slide that grandparents bought. Had a great time being with family.

Saw a movie and then came home to grill and watch the neighbors set off their fireworks.

woke up in the city we lived in like 3 months ago at my moh house, went to perkins with her, then drove back 1 hour home and stayed inside in the ac until we went over to fiances mom's aunts for grilling, then watched fireworks. so low key

I've been off all week to get a start on building my deck. I spent my 4th mixing & pouring concrete footers for my deck. After I exhausted myself, we went out for wings & beer & I came home & crashed at about 10pm.........

Not exciting but very productive......

Went to DH's aunt/uncles along with my inlaws (MIL, FIL, SIL and her friend). Sat around and let DH's aunt wait on us hand and foot. Good times.

Went to small town IL parade and small town fireworks that were AWESOME and lasted over 45 minutes.
