| Would you put high heels on your baby girl? Her First High Heels' The shoes — in sizes 0 to 6 months — sell for $35 a pair. They were created, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, by Bacon and Porter, who describe "her first high heels" as "extremely funny, completely soft, fully functional high-heel crib shoes for babies." They are not intended for walking, but "may cause extreme smiling and hysterical laughter when in use (this is completely normal)," the Seattle 31-year-olds report on Heelarious® ~ her first high heels. ![]() Here's the whole story~ ABC News: Do Baby Heels Say JonBenet or Miss Piggy?

That's just insane! Who in their right mind would put high heel shoes on a baby?

LMAO ... well, as long as she wasn't walking yet ... maybe. If they are uncomfortable, no way! Never would happen at that price! |

I have seen more up close pics of these and they looked almost plush to me (like a bedroom slipper and not a leather shoe like this pictures looks). I wouldn't do it myself...I only own 1 pair of high heels and I hate them! I don't seem the harm in it though...I mean, men put camo on their little boys but you wouldn't want a little baby out hunting and stuff. Some of those baby sayings t-shirts cross the line to me, though! |

I wouldn't put them on my own girls but I think I would laugh if I actually saw them on a baby.

I think it **could** be cute, but I personally would never do that to my baby, and I would never spend that much on them.

no, I wouldn't. Two reasons: 1. I think they are silly. 2. I don't even spend $35 on shoes for myself, and I wear them for 2 years before I replace them

geez~~what's next a pole for her crib? jk~~~can't we just let babies be babies. If they're plush i can understand that they'd be cute, but otherwise it's just weird.Seriously though $35!!!! Wow!

LOL...... they are too funny.. If I got them as a gift I would try them out and take pictures and maybe let her wear them to my moms house but buy them no way too much $ but I see no harm in them.

Dude...I don't even put heels on MY feet! So far all DD (14 months) has for shoes is a pair of fake Crocs and she just takes them off. I think it would be funny to see a baby in them, though. If they're plush and it's a joke, I don't see the harm in it. But no way would I spend that kind of money on a joke! LOL

They are cute and sort of Miss Piggyish. I personally wouldn't buy them or use them. I think girls are already growing up too fast. I'm not going to add to that.

I think this is one of those things that older sisters might get a kick out of. I know I have clothes for my dog that I keep just to amuse my kids every once in a blue moon...and I wouldn't put clothes on a dog regularly either since they are not people.

I saw this on GMA I think and without going into to much I think it is plain wrong. We start sexualizing our young girls already with low rise jeans for 5 year olds - this just takes the cake. I think it might not seem huge or even cute but if you look at the big picture it is awful.
