to start with I'd like to says congrats to all the new forum leaders.Some of you I was able to personally congratulate in the threads and some I wasn't...SO CONGRATS TO ALL.

Last week was very hectic,We had some major electrical problems downstairs and then our hvac (or whatever the air conditioning unit outside is called) unit had problems.We were very fortunate that nothing was very costly and now everything is fine.I did however buy 2 window units since we have a 3 story home and need 2 air conditioners and only have one unit.I found it funny that I bought the 2 window units at aldis only to find out this week the same window units have a rebate at riteaid in which I am now a forum leader of.

I guess I'll test the waters on using a hvac unit plus 2 window units as far as the electric bill goes.Buying another hvac unit and having ducts rerouted will probably be more costly then I want to spend.

This week the kids and I are doing some major house cleaning and I'm going to be busy and this sunday we leave for disney for 7 days.I'll probably pop in for a few minutes some this week,but next week will be all about disney.

Sure hope you have tons of fun...enjoy yourself and don't do anything I wouldn't do

As for the window unit...I also have an HVAC system throught the whole house and bought an additional window unit for an attic bedroom that only had one vent, and didn't notice too big of an increase on our electric bill...maybe like $6-$7 more a month, so not too bad. We do however keep it temperature controlled. HTH

Disney is going to be great!! Ya'll have fun. Sorry to hear about your electrical issues. I'm glad ya'll were able to get fixed easily.
