Jenn, I have heard this girl sing before, she is awesome. There used to be a liitle girl that came to our church that sounded just like her. I just love these little country churches, the kids get up there and sing their hearts out!

Who You'd be Today- Kenny Chesney Reminds me of my son. Cheek to Cheek-Billie Holiday Danced with my kids to this one, and lilttle wade had it on a cd he made a few weeks before he died, it was song #15 with all the rock and rap.

"I Will Always Love You" ~ Whitney Houston I had a cousin that died when I was 11 and when we got in the car at the funeral home to go to the grave site this was on the radio. I still have to change the radio when it comes on. |

Faith, this one from Lonestar doesn't make me cry, actually makes me smile. My 3 sons and daughter all have pretty good singing voices and whenever they and their spouses get together out here for a birhtday party or whatever, if there is beer involoved, this song winds up getting sung. I don't know why, but to see all my kids together singing this song always makes me feel so good. I guess because even though they are grown and have families of their own, they still enjoy each other's company so much and get together atleast once every week. That's a hard thing to do with work schedules, babies, and all of life's demands. Makes me feel like I must have done something right for them to be able to sit around, hug each other, and sing a few songs. The babies just run around, climb up and down on everyone and we all have a good time ![]()

That's a favorite of mine also, Kelly. Unfortunately, I can't carry a tune in a bucket. But that doesn't stop me from singing out loud!

Oh, I cannot carry a tune either! I don't know where the kids got it...my parents could sing pretty well and so did my FIL, never heard my MIL sing.....my daughter's voice sounds like an angel singing..the only thing I ask her to do for me at Christmas each year is sing Oh Holy Night (another song that can tear me up quick).

I LOVE "How Can I help you to say goodbye" by patty loveless And "One More Day" I think by Diamond Rio...they both make me cry about my mom dying. I'm on DH's mac and I don't know how to cut and paste. Concrete Angel by Martina McBride is sad. Noticed a lot of country songs on these crying songs!

OK, it's driving me crazy because I can't find a recording of the song anywhere, and mine is horrible. Bette never actually recorded this song, just sings it live. The lyrics are moving enough, but I will try to find the recording. Here are the lyrics: September 11, 2001 September (Written by Robin Lerner, Steve DuBerry, and Hillary Lindsey) Have we learned our lesson or will we do it all again Will we keep on second guessing What's as plain as anything I know they said, "We had it coming" But I've seen some things I never thought I'd see In my life All the little reasons that get me down They mean nothing I fear the good times may be gone Forever (Chorus) Will we cry, will we laugh Will this moment be our last Will we hate, will we fight Seek the truth or live a lie Or will we just learn Cause we've known it all along Will we keep on re-living September Or will we learn September the 11th I did what I've always done Took the subway to Manhattan Rode the train like everyone Oh, I saw the skies filled with sunlight And the city that had given me my wings Come tumblin'down All around me the jigsaw pieces, they fell Broken diamonds You may be gone but you are not forgotten Will we laugh, will we cry Just give up or go down fighting Will we hate or refuse Will we love, what will we choose Oh, when will we learn Cause we've known it all along Will we keep on re-living September Or will we learn Will we give up in return Will we hate or refuse Will we love, what will we choose Oh, when will we learn Have we known it all along Will we keep on re-living September Or will we learn… |
