So for Memorial Day each year, DH and I do a project around the house...well my stockpile was getting a "little" out of control, so DH and I went down to Lowes, bought some shelves and cabinets and put them up to free up some room....take a look at how much room I have now that I will be needing to fill up:









































This is one of the totes with my yard sale stockpile:




I now have cabinets and shelves in just about every place imaginable in my house...the ones that we put up are in the basement, under the basement stairs and the cabinets we put in are in the basement by the bar area and next to the deep freezer and second fridge! So excited, because I now have so much more room in my closet shelving to stockpile more stuff!! I couldn't post all pictures as I guess I reached my limit for one post! But I think this was our most productive Memorial Day Weekend ever, even better than when we built a cedar fence around our house..

Great job! Be sure to try and keep the heavier stuff near a support on the shelves.

My chores for this weekend was a garage sale on Thurs & Sat (got rid of another $450 of stuff), clean the kitchen, go on a bike ride with my DD (very sore crotch ~ TMI, but it hurts ), put away garage sale stuff.

Looks GREAT! We had to do the same thing. Now people ask me can they come to the store and shop. Great side hustle in between yard sales.

Wow looks great. Our project this weekend was yard work. We had 6 huge trees cut down that were working there way towards our roof. I never knew there could be so many little branches everywhere. Then of course had to work on the flower beds that now will have sun. My old body can't hardly bend now.

Wow I am SO jealous of your stockpile! No shortage at your house! Would love to have that problem here. Lately I've been selling a bunch to women at my Dad's office. I'm glad I can sell it though and don't have to store it or put in the time and energy into a rummage sale. I DON'T sell anything that I will always need like Suavitel or Tide. Shampoo and Conditioner sales come around more often. Thanks for sharing!

WOW! That is awesome. I love how organized you are with everything. I am a newbie- and I am excited to start seeing my stockpile grow- maybe someday I will need extra shelves too!

I also just started stockpiling in January...and really it is really the fact that I have so many darn WAGS around me and I stop in 3 times a day at WAGS and my local grocery store and Target to peruse the clearance and buy free/close to free after Qs before work, at lunch, and on my way home that I have so much stuff....plus we have five kids so it all gets used, not to mention I send my parents and in laws a care package of soap, toothpaste, razors, deodorant and medicine once a month...it is also good to be able to help others out when they are running low on funds and they can come and grab the essentials...but really I didn't pay more than a couple hundred dollars for all that stuff and it will last us at least 8-12 months!!! Wish I could stay away from the sales for that long though..but those that know my story with DH and his layoff know why this is so important to me financially and phsycologically! Thanks to all for all the kind words!

I really just wait for a good sale that matches up with my Qs and then go in for the buy...I love paying cents for cleaners, shampoos, razors, deodorants and such...but my trick is to get as many inserts as I can (DHs family saves for me and I get a bunch from the recycle bin or buy the ones I need) so that when that sale comes along I have the most Qs I can to get as many of x item as I can for as cheap as I can!! I have over 40 boxes of FREE rice and Bush's beans right now and only paid $7.80 for 20 bottles of Suavitel...I also only paid $.13 for each of the Suave deodarants, $.30/roll Bounty paper towels, $.14 for cleanteam wipes, $.25 for the Electrasol per box, Free salad dressing and BBQ sauce, free shaving gel after Qs and wait for shampoo/conditioner to go on clearance to get them for $.19-$.59 after Q, not to mention there is always free medicine and visine to be had after Qs and just the right sale!! You just have to find the best time to use your Qs and always have them handy for that sale!! I havent even posted all the makeup and KY I have which I got for free after Q....but I am blessed to have tons of stores around so I don't wipe out shelves or run into the out of stock issue!! This really is a huge job though and it takes me a bunch of time to clip, organize, look and relook at all the ads, write down the perfect sale and then execute the plan in between working full time and trying to put everything into my route to work, but if feels good to see it all laid out like this

Great Stockpile! Mine's about half the size of yours! It's SO FUN! I need to build another house to hold my stockpile goodies! I now have more 12 packs of soda than the closest CVS! We have 57 at the moment! YIKES!

Wow. I am so impressed! I am pretty new to this and have really only been getting what I thought we would need. I could probably find some place in my house to "stock pile". I guess I should start getting better at this. Way to go!!!
