SIL is getting married, I'm in the wedding! () Here is a link to the dress I will be wearing, These dresses are one size fits all(*most ) , the fabric is so cheap, and I really look BAD!!! Oh and the best part is they cost $270! ( for that much money I could have gotten a really nice dress!)

Fabric is VERY thin, in just the right light, yes you can see through it!!! You can see all of my tatoos!

$270? I think that is SO rude to pick something that expensive for 1 day that someone ELSE has to pay for. I bought and paid for my bridesmaids dresses, they just had to pay for any alterations or have a family member do them.

Yeah I'm delighted, delighted I had to spend $270 on a crappy dress, $280 on a hotel, $200 on a rental car, still have to get a gift, oh, and did I mention that DH is the best man???

I had one in my early 20s that was tiers and tiers of hot pink lace top to bottom with a big hot pink satin bow on my butt. 3 days before the wedding the bride decided we needed to wear hoop skirts beneath them. We figured out at the church that none of us could fit into the pews with them on. Another friend picked out backless dresses and luck would have it - the AC in the church went out and her wedding was on the hottest day of the Summer. Our backs stuck to the back of the pew and the intake of breath from all of us when we stood up was audible. Everyone said our backs kept getting more red the longer the mass went on

BUT....you smile pretty and tell the bride it's a beautiful dress like a good friend does no matter how much you hate it

I totally agree!!!! I would not be so annoyed if I could wear the dress again!

I had to wear something like that in a wedding once, almost the same color as the ad. It was horrible!

I like it! And being blonde I would love red ~ but not to the tune of $200+!

I remember my DH insisted I go buy an expensive dress for a formal function and I spent $70 on the dress and $140 on accessories (rhinestone shoes, chandelier earrings, teardrop necklace and beaded shall).

I let my bridesmaids pick the pattern and material. My SIL's SIL was a seamstress and they cost $60. They picked 3 patterns and let me choose.

I can't even imagine making everyone pay that much!

But I would probably wear that by choice ~ I'd prefer black, but red works!

I am so sorry. I don't know what to tell you. It kinda looks like the dress Marilyn Monroe wore in that famous picture where she stands over the street vent and her dress flies up. Oh, man.

I was a bridesmaid for my sil's wedding, and she picked a really pretty dress, and my mil paid for it, so I can't really relate.
