My wedding dress was $110 , veil 25, My matron of honor dress was less than 20 cause I bought the material and her Mom made the dress. We got married in December so I had her in Christmasy green my hubby thought she was in brown cause he is color blind....When I was in her wedding 3 years before though I got my dress on clearance for 10 bucks... Always have been a bargain shopper

I just finished watching 27 dress. So it could be a lot worse.

I wonder what would happen if women in general started standing up to the brides in all of us and saying you know that is really a ugly dress.

I saw on Trading Spaces where they took all this lady's bridesmaid dresses and made pillows out of them instead of giving them away. You could make some really nice curtains afterwards. LOL My sister is getting married in November and she is being very cautious of the style and cost for everyone.

I would like to wear that dress the strapless way! (Dresses like this are fround upon by many here in Utah. Many ppl (in UT) like the style where one can were Temple Garments underneath)

FYI: for some great knowledge just do a google search: temple garments or ceremonies+LDS or annointing LDS Temple or secret ceremonies LDS

I kinda like it just hanging there so I would think it might look even better on. It has that Goddess look. I think if you wear your hair gently swept up (if you can) and pearls it will look nice. Peep toe shoes to go with. Just make sure you wear some serious underwear, spanx if you can find them!

That's an icky dress. I wouldn't pay that much money for a dress like that, and lucky you----You only HAVE to wear it once!

I'd tell the bride you can't afford it, or something like that.

I like "Jane" wear for the celemony, "Rachel" wear for afterwards maybe. ANd of course it depends on the time of the occasion etc. But I wonder if bride will have a preferrance?

I really like it the way it is tied on the girl who looks like Alyssa Milano (lavender color photo)...very cut and would look good on most shapes. Very slimming.

I feel for ya. The dress isn't bad on the skinny girls in the pics because it's either strapless or showing alot of shoulder.

I would opt to wear it with the sleeve but I wonder if you can wear a bra? It doesn't look like some of the girls are.

I'm sorry for you. I HATE being a bridesmaid. Thank God those days are over. It pays in the long run to only have a few close girlfriends.

I can't figure out how to tie it so I can wear a bra! ( believe me whe I tell you I really need to wear a bra, all you mama'a who breast fed your kids know what I'm talkin about!) Also the back is so low cut that if I wear the "super suck it all in" panties they will show! Guess I'm goin' comando!!!
