We only had our house on the market 6 days and got a offer.. and today, 8 days after posting it... it is under contract and the buyer wants to close by the end of may if possible!!! WOW!! I've got some house shopping to do!!!!!!!!!

Yikes only 3 weeks to go and she has to be all packed up and ready to go I don't think she has a lot of time. I would be going crazy trying to pack if I only had 3 weeks.

geez that would definately not happen in Arizona right now. I couldnt sell my house for $5... and oh man when I think of what WE paid for it!!!

Thank you sooo much for posting this......it encourages me!! We will be putting our house on the market in about 3 weeks and my RV is waiting on me in TN, so at least I don't have to worry about house hunting!!

That's great! It took us over 6 months to sell our house in Rhode island and we had to come down $40,000 to do it. We bought our new house in CT and paid full price right before the crash. I don't even want to know what they think the value is right now. Tell me in a couple of years!

That is how fast (or even faster) we sold our house almost a year ago. We found the house we wanted (on 15 acres) in Feb but waited thru *three* offers before ours was accepted (about $15,000 lower than where it started!) THEN we put OUR house on the market on tues about 4pm, by noon on thurs we had a signed offer for $2,000 MORE than what we were asking for and we closed on both houses 3 weeks later, moving in memorial day weekend last year. Very exciting and very FAST!!! Good luck house hunting!!!
