I will move to Hattiesburg, Mississippi afer two months. My husband gets job in Hattiesburg. Does anyone live there? I hope I can have someone to ask something I don't know, like renting a home, where to go to buy food, where to buy baby things, etc.

You may want to check the Roll Call forum for the state of mississippi... Some people put where they are actually from.. or general areas. At least you will know the people from Mississippi...

There is a Target there I know.

There is this AWESOME store (actually 2 that are always together) called Hudson's and Dirt Cheap. They buy out drugstores and also get damaged items. I have bought in-date baby formula for 90 percent off from a drugstore buyout. I actually know someone who buys that formula and makes $500/month selling it on ebay, so you will probably have to fight her off

I think they have a Ross and a Linens N Things and some other places like that...along with the worst Wendy's EVER!
