*FRAUD ALERT* GreenZap Gold Account Holders - Fraudulent Check Payments
If any of you signed up for a GreenZap Gold account many many years ago, it looks like someone managed to get their database of bank accounts and routing numbers, and is using that information to print up checks for varying amounts (i.e. $19.75, $19.95) and cash them at a Nevada Bank of America. The "Pay to" is listed as Three, Inc, and the memo is "eSafe Payment - 1-866-925-1969". Calls to that phone number go to a voicemail system (naturally). After doing some quick Googling, I figured out that the common denominator is that all victims have had a GreenZap Gold account.
