I never find anything good. But, I like to look, anyway. A few days ago, I stopped in, at the Good Will store and found a monitor for $4.99. It had no power cable, no video cable, and they hadn't tested it. But, it was a 19-inch flat screen LCD monitor, for $4.99. I had to take the chance. I had an old power cable and ordered a video cable, from walmart.com, for $4.00. With a bit of effort, I got it to work. Because it didn't do anything but display 'signal cable not connected' and go blank, I thought it was broken. But, after 'gingerly adjusting' the connector port, I got it to connect properly. I guess, the original owner probably assumed it was a hopeless case. Anyway, for less than $10 total, I got a nice, flat lcd display, for the laptop (broken screen) that was using a leftover over-sized crt monitor from 2003.

Great find.I like when people think things are hopeless to fix and donate. One time I found a potato masher.I payed 1.00 took it home looked up the name brand and found out it was worth 50.00 Who in there right mind would pay that for a potato masher had there brains mashed.Figured a restraunt had donated it.
You can find some good deals just have to be there at the right time.We have a Goodwill outlet you pay by the pond. I have found brand name clothes just got to be willing to dig and get your hands dirty.Found Hollister,AE,ACF just to name a few.
