I really look forward to the afternoon when DS takes his nap because then I get to have some "me" time and read all the AFC threads.

I plan my entire day around this time of day but it's a challenge making dinner and keeping a clean house-I love a clean house!

I have a desktop so I usually get the bulk of threads read during the late afternnoon. I prep dinner while DS eats lunch so at 4:00 all I have to do is cook it and set the table. I also only clean when he is awake-when he is sleeping its my play time.

Then in the evening when DH is home I sneak upstairs to the computer as soon as he falls asleep.

I was just wondering what everyone's schedule is like in terms of AFC time. Do you catch up alot throughout the day at work? on your laptop while the kids play?

I am designing cabs on one screen and AFC is up on the other screen...

I have two monitors hooked to one computer... so I get to read all day while waiting on the computer

I have a hard time with this. I could sit here all day long. I do have a lap top so I can have it with me when I'm cooking or what ever and check in here and there. Wouldn't want to miss anything!!!
I do however need to try to "schedule" my time so that everything I really need to do is getting done.

I wake up at 6:30 a.m. and log on and catch up while getting the kids ready for school and myself for work
Leave house at 8:15 a.m.
Log back on at work 8:30 a.m. and keep it on all day...I sneak in and out while typing letters, but keep it open in a browser window all day..
Run to WAGS & Target next door at 12:00 for lunch
1:00-5:30 some more working and AFCing
5:30-6:00 to grocery store and home
6:00-7:00 dinner time (already premade casseroles cooked on Sunday and defrosted during the week which DH makes) also cleaning kitchen from prep and after dinner
7:00-9:00 catching up with kids and DH and baths for all
8:00-9:00 quick house cleanup, laundry in, trash out, dogs out, and putting kiddos to sleep
9:00-11:00 me on my laptop for some more AFC while reading the mail, paying bills, and watching some TV, and then off to bed to await another day to start it all over again

I'm usually logged in all day. I pop on to the computer when the girls are napping or use my laptop sometimes when they are playing. Then later when they go to bed, I will catch up on whatever I missed earlier.

I have to say this site has been my new addiction. I am working Mom to a 10 month old girl...(whom I hate to leave everyday, she's with my Mom and my husband gets home earlier than I do..) I try to log in whenever I can when I am at work. ... It almost keeps my mind off the dact that I am away from her, especially when I'm on AFC looking for coupons to buy her more stuff!!!

I stay logged in all day and check in more often than I should. My house has suffered because of this place! At least I am saving alot of money. Maybe enough to get a maid one day!

Well, I don't watch t.v. during the day, so I guess this is like my T.V. We have a laptop, so I check in when I am sitting watching the kids. The twins play together more than a single child, so they don't want to be right up on me like one baby would. We get up, have breakfast, take ODS to preschool, come back and they play and get a chance to crawl around the play area. While they are crawling around, I check in usu. for the first time. If I have checked in earlier, you can assume Hayden has woken up crying and I sat up with him tooling around on AFC until he got bored enough to go back to sleep. at 1045 we have lunch, then the go down for a nap. Sometimes I afc then, but I usually try to do housework then...esp. the laundry. Housework is not a huge priority for me, but we have roomba so I try to run it to "sweep" the floors and I stay caught up on dishes. Once a week, our twin teenage girl neighbors come over and clean everything but the bedrooms, game room, and master bathroom for $20 (love that cheap labor!), so that helps me stay on top of everything. I am great at straightening, but not so much disinfecting, so this is great for me. We pick up ODS at 2, then come home and all th ekids play together and I will try to pick up the downstairs, AFC a little if something interesting was on, and do supper around 4. Dh gets home about 5 and he hates when I am on the computer when he is home, so I usually won't afc unless he goes to bed early or I am having a hard time sleeping. Some days I am gone all day and I don't log in. Today is a Texas mom day, so I am on more to try to de-stress. Texas mom days are when you are so stressed you want to bite off everybody's head and go psycho. My friend and i noticed many of the really bizarre stories you hear about moms come out of Texas, thus the name.

I could be on all day too, but.... on work days (or nights) I need to wait until I am home. Since I work for the government, I am not supposed to use the internet if it is non work related. I don't want them to block it. I still print q's from the food lion generator at work, the "internet natzis" haven't blocked it yet; however, they did block me from printing from the food lion email page I get. Dh asks, "what is so special about the computer?" On my day off, if he isn't home too, I spend A LOT of time on here! I neglect my regular email account, I have a lot of unread messages. I look thru it, and say, I'll read that later, unless it is a message from one of my former neighbors or other long time friend. If it is spam I delete it, but it still has over 400 unread messages.
