I am in the jokester mood this year. I work at a small company with only 7-10 people in my office. For the regular employees, I am putting small post-its saying Happy April Fool's Day on the bottom of their mouse. When they try to use it, the cursor won't move on their screen. So now, I have to think of a good one for my boss. Nothing too mean but good enough to really get her. HELP!

tape over the microphone on the phone.. She will be able to hear you talk, but you wont hear her.. makes for an interesting start to the day...

If she brings her lunch, swap out her beverage. Always amusing to open the lunch and find a different drink in there..

Bring a few sets of clothes and everytime you go in her office wear a different outfit.. too much work for most people...

Putting tape over any LCD screen makes them fuzzy.. good targets calculators, phones, etc

gluing the pens in place is always fun...

taping the lil button on the phone down.. they will pick up the receiver and never answer the phone since the button is taped down..

Ok this one takes a lil work... get on her computer and open microsoft office. Go to tools/ go to auto correct/ go to replace with. You have to select a common word (the works soo nicely) and replace with Lynsey is an excellent employee... or something like that...

We use to adjust the monitors so that they would be completely black and then when they came in and hooked up thier laptop it looked like the monitor was bad.

This one is always a classic around our office... take a screen shot of their desktop... then load the picture as the computer background and hide the icons... More or less the background is now a picture of what their desktop looked like but none of the icons work (since it is a picture)...

I say switch the N and the M keys on their keyboards. It is so subtle they wont notice

My old boss feel victim to this ... it said Lynsey deserves a raise.... this will not stop until you approve it... I believe that was tied to several words... it was kind of amusing.... I let him go for about an hour.. then went in and changed it back..

ohhh another fun one... I kind of wrote a program that will turn all the menu words backwards (for the full microsoft suite)... so File was Elif... oh the fun I had with that...

probably too mean,but you can make some good use of that free toothpaste.
scrap the icing off of oreos and replace it with toothpaste.

If she has a nameplate you could snag it when yall leave today and make a jello mold out of it and put it back on her desk in the morning

Put vaseline, lotion, or some of that ky on the door knob. Make sure, you put it on the INSIDE and OUTSIDE! They won't think you would do both!

If she is right handed switch her mouse to left handed user and vice versa.. My boss use to do stuff like that to me all the time and it wasn't even april fools day!!

Do you by chance have access to her car keys? MOVE IT!! Love that one! Whoopie (sp) cushions are all sorts of fun! Or go to lunch together and when she is backing out hit the door with your hand really hard! Don't forget to watch her face as this one will give you LOADS of laughs!! Back seat works better or when she has her head turned the other way! I gotta stop I'm gonna wake up DH!
