Yes you can watch YouTube on iPad ( theres an app just for that)

And unless you have hands like the hulk, you don't need or use a stylus. Even with chubby fingers it works well!

I'm glad your excited, it is a pretty cool device. The size makes it a must. Even though I have an iPod and a nice smart phone (android though), I wouldn't nt to be without my iPad. I bought a special bag that I carry as a purse and take my iPad everywhere.

So you just get in the habit of when you go to bed and night you also put your ipad to bed in it's charging station?

The size is one of the major things gearing me to going the ipad route instead of the iphone route.

Shoot I just carry a small tiny purse so I'm going to have to carry it seperatly. I never got into carry a large purse.

The pink you see aroundine is all hard plastic and then there's a sleeve of silicone that hides where it snaps together this is genius I never worry about the kids playing with it or dropping it

I bought mine at best buy and it's the best investment I have ever made as I have accidentally dropped my iPad twice and for not the otter box I would have been without my iPad

I guess I will have to drag myself into Best Buy. I had an issue there 25 years ago with a bad microwave they sold me and I vowed to never do business with them again. BUT at least I will ONLY be buying the case from them and NOT the ipad. I called Sam's and they didn't have the Otter box

I think I'm going to pay the extra hundred for the 32 gb. Just because of the movie situation. Crap I just turned my $489 ipad into a about a $780 ipad ($589 for the ipad, $79.96 for the 5 year warranty, and $100 for the Otterbox) Shoot I wonder if should stick to this $489 for the ipad, $39.85 for the 5 year warranty and $90 for the Otterbox. So around $600. That will save me about $150. Help what do I do??

I don't have a charging station, I just plug it into the wall next to my bed with the charge cable. You could also charge at the computer. I don't like carrying a large purse but I didn't want another thing to carry so I combined it all together.

As for charging, I don't know about how the apple store does it, but my iPad from a separate vender did not come charged. I have to charge it before use.

Also a stylis is not necessary. The buttons are plenty big and you can zoom in of you need a bigger area to click.

It is also for tv shows, movies, apps, and books ! Think kindle but way easier to read!

One iTunes account will hold all your stuff on it, and access for all your purchases.

Like it was mentioned before you can share everything on all your i devices. (just in case you get hooked on iPads) for example at work I have 8 iPads and I share all my apps between all of them. I don't have to buy the same thing for each one. Not sure if that applies to you...not sure how likely you are to get more than one

Ok, today when I was at Sam's checking it out quick I saw a case that had a built in keyboard. (right on the case)

So he actually has a seperate keyboard that he attaches the ipad to?

Oh I can see this costing me mega bucks with me liking ALL the bells and whistles. I have had it happen once before it my life. Back in 2006 I wanted a Totoya Prius but was just going to go with the base one. Well after talking to tons of other Prius owners I ended up going with a maxed out Prius. All the way maxed out except the very last step which was leather seats. Lucily I didn't want one because I was already at $30K at that point. (started out at about $21K) BUT I do have to say I DID make the right choice. I love all the extra things I added onto my Prius. (Smart Key, Backup camera, Navigation etc)

Are all the aps going to cost me a ton of money

95% of my apps were totally free.

The few that I have paid for were 99 cents. The Tv shows are wherei have spent $... Rotf! But I would have bought them on DVD anyway, so it was not as big a deal .

IT IS SO WORTH THE COST

I am really sure that you could get one on ebay..they have an outlet store on there that sells th eotterboxes..
Itunes is where you will download EVERYTHING for your ipad..from Apps to Movies..the "find my IPAD' is an app that you get from the app store and you use it to find your ipad via your computer if ever it is misplaced/.

i dont know about your question about was the comment for you..i was just saying that if some bad person did steal your ipad..you can find it and it has acool feature you can activate on it that requires a pin number to open the home screen and id somebody stole it and tried..it locks up after a certain number of tries..and staays on so as it will ping to show you and/or police where it is..check out youtube about the gal whose iphone was stolen on acruise ship and she was able to trace it down..and he was an employee..he was snapping pics of his buddies and they would upload to her itunes account through icloud..they had pics he took of himself too..so he was BUSTED! I personally wouldnt get the extra warranty..IF something were to be defective with your ipad you would know it right away..this is only my opinion....im just saying..MY opinion...
but its not likely you would find a defect after the manu warranty wore out..it will be alot sooner if there is a defect! these things are tough!
you dont need an otterbox right away unless your fearing it may get dropped..its kinda a ymmv situation..I am a bad person when it comes to the dropsies...my husband tells me i could never carry a bob..i can drop something for no apparent reason..i dont know why?

If I wanted a warranty though I would have bought it from apple ( apple care plus)
I would wait a few days for delivery ( but buy the iPad today of course) and get the otter box from amazon or eBay for less.

The 32 gb would be worth the extra $ though!

I have this sleeve and it has the keyboard built in and it is awesome but not at all a necessity, I rarely use it I live my iPad and I would opt for the biggest memory you can afford cuz it is all you'll ever have it is not expandable and I saw you said you may use something like excel on your iPad that will take up your memory as well
I hope you enjoy yours I get giggly just thinking about my life before my iPad/iPhones I'm so glad I'm spoiled just enough but not to much
