I saw a santiago bonded leather sofa with ottoman for 599$ in the memorial day sale. I want to buy one. But I haven't shopped arround for sofa or looked at furniture ads very much. is it the best deal or I can get better deal if I wait? Any comments is apreciated. Thanks

For sofa, I'd go for local sale because I want to inspect the quality of the product, which is most important to me. It also gives business to sellers in your area. I suggest that you check the quality of the product and the workmanship, and if you think it is worth the money, I'd say it's a great deal for you! You can ask for some discount if you're paying in cash and they may give you some. But with or without discounts, as long as you're happy with it, that's a great buy!

I suggest going to see it in person. It sounds like a good price BUT look at the stitching, it should be enforced, have clean straight stitches and no pulling. Check for thickness on the leather, sit on the seats, bounce your bottom on it a few times then see when you get up if the leather has a dent left in it. Check for quality in every nook and cranny as cheap ill constructed leather is no bargain. If all appears well check the warranty. If it is all good enjoy the deal and get new furnature

As my brother use to tell my Mom. If you can reach down and pick it up easily move on. You want it to be heavy so that shows it is made with better materials not just a bunch of wood strips.
