I finally made the move from Tracfone to MetroPCS only to find that the city I live in has choppy service. Even though I'm in a city, I don't have any service when I'm at home. My phone doesn't even ring, which isn't good when you have parents with health issues. I want unlimited talk text and web and tracfone can get very expensive but I don't want to sign a contract. Are there any other carrier besides MetroPCS that I can look into?

Go to Walmart they have all the different carriers that have month to month services. I have boost and the service is really good - they use the sprint network.

A lot of the contact carriers have prepaid or pay as you go options as well. As another poster suggested Walmart or even Target should have all the carriers and options. Or check out the carriers online. Sometimes they have better deals without a contact for what your looking for.
