I would love some ideas for what to get our daughter who is going to turn 1 soon. What are some things that she would get a lot of use out of? or maybe something your little girl really loved and played with for a long time?

since it is getting warmer out i would get her a ride on car or stuff to play with outside but then again mine loves being outside n has a small battery operated 4 wheeler n a bike that has a push handle for the parents

At that age my girls loved these little ride-on scooter toys we got for them... they played with them inside and outside. They also loved this little shopping cart and would push it around and "go shopping" it had pretend groceries in it.

If yours is not walking just yet there is a convertable scooter toy that helps them toddle along then converts to a rider... I'll see if I can find a link for you...

My kids love bubbles and I got them bubble machines. There is even one that attaches to your bathroom so they can pop bubbles while in the tub. They are pretty cheap so for the many hours my kids spent playing popping bubbles it was totally worth it.

For my daughter's first birthday we're piercing her ears. Also getting her bubble stuff, she loves bubbles.
The first birthday is more for the parents anway , and she'll be happy with the wrapping paper more than anything!
So just take the day to enjoy it and reflect on a wonderful year that def. was a journey!
