Just wondering how many of you have smart phones. I'm thinking about getting an iphone but i'm not crazy about the added monthly fee for at&t. Also, what kind of phone is it?

We have Droids here. I love the Kindle app and free Kindle books and also the free apps. We went to Verizon and my hubby wanted an iPhone but the guy there convinced us to get a Droid. Not saying there's anything bad about the iPhone but I do love my droid.

Most of the androids kill the iphones in usefulness. If you insist on a iphone look at sprint they have better lower cost plans for the iphones. AT&T makes you purchase texting separate so their plans cost more.

Another Android lover here. Open source is the way to go! Also have Sprint so really unlimited data usage is awesome.

Android users here too. Love them. We also have Sprint with their unlimited data plan. You can't beat their prices.

I will admit though, the only reason I went with the Samsung Galaxy (both hubby and I have one) vs the iPhone is because of the slide keyboard. I HATE on screen keyboards. My daughter has the EVO Shift for the same reason. We all love our phones.

Yes, we both have Android phones. We pay around $150/month with T-Mobile. I know it's a lot but we both use our phones more than anything else so I feel that justifies the expense.

I have heard that AT&T can get quite expensive but unless the price is just outrageous I feel it's worth it.

I have a HTC Inspire. It's a droid and I love it. At first I was against going full touch screen but I've gotten used to it. It's so funny how phones have changed. They started big, then everyone wanted them as small as possible. And now they're getting bigger again.

For those that talk about ATT I have them and their not outrageous to me or expensive. I use my phone a far amount and still have a pretty cheap bill for two lines with data/messaging. Verizon was the most expensive company I've ever had. With T-Mobile having the worst service as well as customer service.

My wife and I both have Droid X2's and love them. These are our 2nd smartphones, first we had the Droid Eris (very small screen). Android is the way to go, no doubt. I have rooted mine and have a ROM now that the battery can last pretty much all day, even with internet on. Open source RULES!!!

I have the iPhone. I must say that getting one was all DH's idea, but now that I have one I CANNOT live without it! I was never able to save as much money with coupons before because with two small kids I could never sit at the PC long enough and the laptop was too bulky. I now have the iPad also, which is super convenient while nursing a baby, etc! I have found all my coupon bargains and matchups on these devices so I definitely think they are worth the money! I can even check the forums for certain stores while I am in the actual store - found tons of clearance deals this way!!

When we looked into AT&T, we were told by AT&T they don't have an unlimited data plan. They said the only people that could have unlimited data are people that were grandfathered in because they had it before the iPhones came out and then they charge them extra for it. They also said they throttle you (Sprint is the only one who doesn't as far as I know) when you reach a certain point, like 2g each month. Is that right? We reach that within the first week of our billing cycle each month. LOL

Ooohhhh I guess we are grandfathered in I've never switched companies... Been with them since it was Houston Cellular, then something else, now AT&T.

We switched to pre-paid and I got a very cheap faux Blackberry, but there are Androids now that don't require a contract (I think Virgin Mobile has them, maybe others too) so you may want to look into that before you sign a contract, hope that helps

Call T-Mobile and change your plan. They now have a plan with 2 phones on one contract for $ 49.99 per line unlimited everything. There was a flyer in the past 2 or 3 months statements mailed out about this plan. I switched one of my bosses & his wife's phones to the same contract to get that price and it is worth the change.

My husband and I have our service with Raw Data. They're a market research company that subsidizes your plan in exchange for answering market research text messages. We get unlimited everything through Sprint with free LS Optimus S phones for $40/mo each, including taxes/fees. Until this, we didn't have smart phones. I just couldn't justify the cost.

I have an HTC Inspire through At&t and I love the phone. Couple things you should look at before getting a phone from any carrier, go to their website and look at the coverage in the area you are in or areas you travel to. At&t is a reasonable rate for me because I work from home so can use a lower data plan bc I connect via wifi 90% of the time. Also, check with each company as most offer discounts due to your employer (I get a 30% discount).

Had an htc thunderbolt for six months, droid x for about a year, the moto razr and currently I'm borrowing a friends original droid since my razr was stolen.

Tried sprints samsung epic 4g ii touch that was nice...

I'm an android fan girl. I'm waiting to see what comes out next on verizon before I seal the deal with another razr.

I don't have a computer or cable (or even rabbit ears, however I do have a tv) so this is my lifeline.
