Not a guy, but when dh uses coupons, he rarely has trouble. He's a big guy, but is really a teddy bear.

I think men would have an easier time. Women are catty toward other women in general, so even more so with coupons I think! Which is why I always try to find male cashiers!

The cashiers always say "awww its so nice you coupon for your wife" .. I just chuckle.. I rarely have any trouble, but occasionally get some weird looks on what I buy with coupons for the family..

My DH never has an issue I've come home crying after spending 2 hours shopping only to have issues at check out leaving with nothing. I send him with a list the coupons he comes back with no problem at all. I'm 4'9 a small he's 6'4 and big think they are afraid to question him see me as chump change. He helps me lots with getting coupons and good deals. Hats off to you guys!

All Man here, regular couponer for over a year now. My mom coupon for years but not the extent I'm doing now. Only if she could see what I am doing, she would be shocked. (VA.)

My DH is our primary grocery shopper. I discovered a year into our marriage that he was better at it than I. No shame in that.

I do clip coupons for him after he makes his list.

Question: So far, not wanting to buy a Sunday paper for coupons that may or may not be there, I've just been using the printable ones here for products I know we'll use plus the occasional coupon that comes attached to something we buy. Our main grocery store is Walmart and I don't see any tearpads or other promos there. We also have a local Franz bread outlet and use other non-coupon methods (sales, price match, etc) to save money on groceries, but total COUPON savings is maybe 5% of our grocery bill on a good day.

How are you other men doing on the savings?

I primarily print coupons, as I have more than 1 computer available. I rarely get inserts. Sometimes I'll find blinkies, peelies, and tearpads.

I am in a suburb of Minneapolis.

I usually get inserts with the Sunday paper, IP's and occasionally I will pick up coupons on Ebay if there is a deal I want to maximize.

My wife will make the grocery list and I will find the coupons and put the deals together in order to maximize savings. Any extra deals or stockpiling is my thing and she is usually pretty good with that. Though, I got a great deal on toilet paper awhile ago and she now insists on certain types.
