Work at Home Making Gift Baskets?

Hey Ladies,
I was pondering the idea of making gift baskets so I could choose my own hours and stay at home with my DS. Wondering if you guys think that this would be hard/not-so-hard to do. Have you guys ever bought gift baskets as presents...and if so what was in it and how much was it??? Thanks for the input ladies Any input, ideas, websites, books would be oh so appreciated

I don't have too much info on this, but I have bought a diaper cake before. Those sell really well and you can charge a ton for them. If you CVS then you could really clean up doing this. I have no creative talent so I would be horrible at it. I imagine that you could do ebay with these, but the shipping costs would be pretty high.

Another great thing to do would be house-warming gift baskets. I have made these before, but just as a gift, not for sale. You can either do a first meal in your new home kit (spaghetti sauce, spaghetti , collender, dishtowel and a spoon) or a necessities kit (roll of toilet paper, soap, trial size shampoo and conditioner, drinks, detergents, etc). If you can get the price low enough you could market this toward an upscale apartment complex. I used to work as a leasing agent and we would buy these for every new rental.

Sorry I could be more help.

Awesome idea!!! I had no idea those diaper cakes sold well - I make one for every shower I do & the wash cloth one for bridal showers!!! They're pretty easy.
