A local woman obviously overestimated how many baby wipes she would need because she is selling 43 tubs of huggies wipes for $1.75 each. I know it is a pretty good price, IMHO. Should I take advantage of this?? Let me know what you think, Kathryn Last edited by TigerGirl1226; 01-30-2008 at 02:13 PM. Reason: clarification |

Not too bad but Huggies wipes are about $2.50 a tub and there are always $.75 off coupons. If your not in real need of them I would pass.

Does she accept coupons? ![]() But seriously, I would offer her less than and tell her your reasoning (that you could just use your coupons). I would offer her $1.50 and see what she says. That is assuming you are in need of wipes.

I agree. If you go by "consignment rules" you shoudl pay no more than 35-40% of retail. I know that doesn't always aply, but a good rule of thumb. I am new to Craig's List, but found a Wii and did not feel ripped off! I also sold a table on it.

Thanks for the advice...I think I am going to wait until next week and see if she's still got them and see if I can get her to go down on the price! If not, I'll just get them on sale somewhere else!

| As an example, just recently there was a Huggies Q on the Target generator here and Target had a sale.......they were "free or durn near!" If you have a Target, I would bet the ranch that's where they came from!!
