I just came across the following

Goodsearch.com offers you the opportunity, the first time you use their site, to choose a favourite charity. Then, use them for internet searches, just as you would Google or Yahoo or Winzy. Nice thing is, for every search, 1c goes to your charity - paid for by the advertizers on the site.

23 000 different charities, 100 more every day.

For example, 10 searches a day, 30 days = $3 for basically doing nothing you aren't allready doing. And come on, how many of us only do 10 searches a day! Add to that DH, DD, DS, anybody else's searches and I think you can actually make a difference to that charity. Tell your friends and see what happens!

What a nice way to support your charity in a way that doesn't take any more time than you allready use, with absolutely no effort except registering your choice of charity!

I've been using this for over a year now and it's great! I get to help my favorite charity by doing something I do several times a day anyway!

I have been involved with the James A. Schlipmann Melanoma Cancer Foundation for about 2 1/2 years now. I lost my sister to Melanoma in January of 2005. We just became part of Goodsearch. I completely agree with fsc! It is an awesome way to donate to a charity without taking a single penny out of your pocket!! What could be easier? If there is anyone that would like to do this, but you don't have a charity, please consider using James A. Schlipmann Melanoma Cancer Foundation. My sister was 32 when she passed away from Melanoma and after working with the foundation, I can't tell you how many new cases of melanoma that I have seen over the past 2 1/2 years. It affect all ages, races, and genders. Regardless of whether you choose this or another charity, I highly recommend it! Thanks for the post!!
