Ok, so with my baby brain and total lack of sleep... I admit, I have forgotten some times to send something out or thought I sent it and realized after a few days that I did not. BUT... I contacted this person and told them I was unsure if it went out or not and to let me know by that Friday if they rec'd it so I could resend. I looked everywhere for the envie and it was not here so I was almost sure I had sent it. Well, s/he said they did not receive it. So, the following Monday, I trotted Adam to the PO and bought more stamps to send to the person. I, with my own hands, put the envie in the blue box right there so I knew it was sent. I just looked at my feedback and they had left me NEGATIVE saying it was never rec'd. Then, they left me neutral saying they rec'd it on 11/27. I KNOW FOR A FACT I put it in the box on 11/12... is it my fault it was not delivered until 11/27? I mean I have heard it takes up to 9 business days to deliver first class mail... and this would have been the 9th business day (due to the holiday)... ugggggggggghhhhh

Sorry for the tantrum... I'm just a little upset. Ok, you may go on with your reading of worthwhile posts. I just needed to get that off my chest!

it has happened to me a few times that stuff took forever to get there or never made it at all. This only when i use the post office in CHAMPLAIN. So after i figured that one out i just dont use that post office anymore as i dont feel i can trust them.
Dont beat yourself up too much after all you do have lots of good feedback. I for one can say you are a wonderful person to trade with

I recently moved.. and have found my post office in my lil town takes a lil longer... the mail is sorted there then shipped to the "big city" nearby... it adds two to three days to my delivery time.. since I have realized this I stopped leaving my mail at home in the box.. and started dropping it off in the "big city" seeing as I do work there

Maybe, they are new or they just was having a bad day or week and took it out on you. Sorry, it happen.

I think we should avoid making assumptions as to why the person did it (Adamsmom admitted sending it late...)... they are a part of this group also and will read the board.... I would hate for the assumptions to be passed back and forth and for this to get nasty....

Either way.. we alll hate negative feedbacks.... but they are a necessary evil at the same time...

i wasn't looking for assumptions to be made, lhart. all i was doing was venting a little bit, as we all do from time to time this will not get nasty, no need for that! like i said in the post... i just needed to say what i had to say and i did so i'm fine...

I was actually referring to the other post... I know you were venting.. that was fine... I just didnt want the posts to get out of hand where the assumption was made on the basis on her negative feedback...


You have made some awesome trades.. so I am sure that negative will soon be a distant memory...

I didn't mean anything bad about what I said if you are talking about me. I was just giving reason why maybe she got a neg. Sorry, it upset you what I said I didn't mean to hurt any one. I think most people that know me know that.

I know you wouldnt do it intentionally.. but as I said the person leaving the feedback also reads the board.. and I wouldnt want them to feel bad for leaving the feedback...

The main point I guess I was getting at... Adamsmom admitted to baby brain and sending it out late... (I am not saying if this is or isnt grounds for negative feedback..)... however the feedback poster felt it was... The assumption on her having a bad day as a possible reason could be read as harsh towards her..

I was not offended.. but I dont want her to be either.. whoever she may be...

To whom ever left the neg. feedback if you took what I sad in a bad way I am very sorry. I have bad days and take it out on people and that why I said that. I guess I shouldn't have. Hope you know I did not say it to hurt you. Who ever you are. Who knows you might be one of my best friends on here and hope you know I didn't say it to hurt you just trying to help someone else smile about there neg. Sorry.

I'm sorry to hear that adamsmom, I wish you would have had a better day. I know we are all busy in life and I want you to know that I left the train because people weren't committed to it. It's aggravting when they say they want to be on a train but can't have the common courtesy to let everyone when they get it and send it off. It has nothing to do with you. You can only do so much. I hope that you have a better evening and rest of the week!

rgyman - I was not offended about the bad day comment. We had agreed to the trade on Nov 1, I was told it would be sent out late on Nov 9, and as of Nov. 24, I had not gotten the trade. Because of that, I posted the neg. feedback. I am sorry that I did that now since I got the trade today and it was postmarked 11/14. Everything is settled and we're moving on.

Glad I didn't hurt you as I would never hurt anyone if I could help it. I just try to put smile on people faces when I can. Glad everything is ok and that everyone can just move on.
