Really really Cool!!!

Says best viewed in Google Chrome but I watched it in FF, a lot of pop ups appear, just ignore them, they are part of the experience

My DH and I were checking it out last night. We just did it with our current address and it was rather interesting to see our house from SEVERAL years ago (before we even knew it existed.)

The downside is I tried my parent's address and it pulled up something completely wrong. I've seen people on other boards saying it won't even work for them because it comes back that Google doesn't have enough map information for them.

Pretty neat, though if it works for you!

YEah I thought so, I was amazed that the town in England that I grew up in was on there, haven't been there in almost 8 years and it's hardly changed!

I tried to use the town I live in now and it did not have enough imaging.

Very cool. What would be even cooler is if they had that guy actually run by the house .

In our video there is a little image that moves as if it's the guy actually running by the house but this could depend on the type of video that is produced. When DH and I did it last night we had a southern approach to our house but when I just tried it again earlier it approached our house from the east.

The will all be the same guy, but the google maps and images change!

May not be an oscar winning short movie but I still think it's really cool! I espcially like the 'write to the younger you' part! QUite Surreal
