AND AM I EVER FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure what I am going to do. There was a NASTY article on News Channel 5 an hour ago saying the reason that they are stopping the doubling is because of all of the abuse ie people using more than 3 or 4 coupons at a time. Unbelievable. Not only am I estimating that my grocery bill will go up a minimum of $300.00 a month, it will proably cut my donations IN HALF. What do you guys do who do not have doubles ?????????????????

Can you choose to shop at a competitor's?

Once a new grocery store opened in my town. Offered doubles up to 0.50 -- well the big grocery store in town offered doubles up to 0.99

The new grocery store quickly changed their policy to doubling up to 0.99 within 4 wks.

Maybe your grocery store will see the light and go back to doubling.

Linda the store is Giant Eagle and actually NO ONE around other than them doubled. Jesh. I am poopin. I CAN go to competitors but it will be either Walmart or Acme or Buehlers and the last 2 are terribly high. I think you might be on the mark and the best I can hope for is that they maybe go back. I have a bad feeling though...............

I don't have double and I just watch the store ad and able to do very well and I was use to double so keep your chin up and nose in the sale ads and I sure you will be fine. Hey, you can always PM me and talk and I will be glad to listen. You have to be smart as you come here so I sure you will be able to deal with what life has thrown at you.

Cheryl...that is TERRIBLE news. We have the same Giant Eagles! Angie will this affect you too? This makes me soooooo SAD. I was driving 40 min. just to get the double coupons in Akron. I had not heard about this!

I don't have stores (that I'm aware of) that double close by...I'm not sure how I'd act if I did....maybe I'd be less "conservative" I feel for ya!

Thanks girls, just got home after 3 hours in the store I HIT THEM HARD. It will keep me stocked for awhile but DARN DARN DARN. Lisa, we will have to drive to Pa. now cause I think they still have them. LOL. Boy will I be paying attention to the loss leaders now. Thanks for the uplifting thoughts.

We don't have doubles here in MN other than Rainbow (doubles only 5 coupons once you spend $25).

I'm sure that you will do great in finding the deals you need.
