I would have to put on a sweatshirt at 72 degrees. We keep ours at 78/80 degrees during the day when DH isn't at home. Once he is home, then it gets turned down to 74 to 76. Of course, once he is in bed, it goes right back up.

This one I didn't know, but ours is in the shade 75-90% off the day...

Plant trees or shrubs to shade air conditioning units, but do not block the airflow. A unit operating in the shade uses less electricity.
