| And you should (buy shoes that last). It's important to take care of your feet. Bad shoes can cause knee, feet and back problems.

My husband and I go out to eat roughly twice a month. I buy Keratase hair products - so worth it. Those bottles last me months more then the cheap stuff. If I see a purse I want, I buy it. I don't really have a set time when I buy those. Stuff for the house - blankets, pillows, furniture. We always want stuff for the house. Those are our biggies. So different from the way things used to be when I was single!

Oh I forgot one. A bouquet of flowers - roughly once a week. I used to do it all the time and when my husband lost his job I stopped. Now that he has a job and things are good, I have gone back to it. And last week there were only crappy flowers, so instead I bought two this week. It is just something for me. Flowers make such a difference.

| I know ... it's fascinating to me!!! They are beautiful and I have a few myself but I'm holding back to buy one TRULY incredibly high priced bag. Like a Louis V. I really didn't know Coach was THIS pop though!! Splurge for me would have to be makeup and perfume. I refuse to buy drugstore ... gotta be Sephora or department store counter! |

Well I've already splurged!! Ha Ha. I decided to treat myself to a pair of designer jeans... I looked at the possibles, and in the end chose the King Crimson jeans at the foot of the page here. Men's Jeans - Straight, Skinny & Regular Fit - French Connection Mainly because I like the band King Crimson. Ha Ha! I rarely find coupons in the UK towards jeans... it's usually household items and food. we used to get loads in the Sunday Newspaper The News of the World, but as you may have heard, it has now stopped printing becasuse of phone hacking allegations (soon to become convictions!) and some collusion and possibly money changing hands with the police. To be frank I won't miss it... but the coupons and special offers will! |

![]() My list is everchanging. I'm saving my family a lot of money by couponing and it allows me and/or DH to spend a little more on other things. Recently, DH surprised me by buying me and my sister concert tickets, and I was so touched by his thoughtfulness. We have 2 little ones under 3 and that was the first time in over 3 years that I went out without the family and stayed out for over 5 hours! It was such a nice concert with a sit down gourmet dinner and everything. Worth every penny!!! |

Well, WHAT I USE TO PLURGE ON??? LOL...Getting my hair done every week, nails done every two weeks, handbags (don't ask!), and lunch every day at work, , and always a good bra . Now, things are really tight so I don't know if there is anything...I refuse to buy cheap toilet paper, a cheap bra, cheap laundry detergent, and I guess I still have cable so that's what I plurge on. Thanks. Last edited by SouthernBellSaver; 07-11-2011 at 07:51 PM. |

Starbucks. I usually have about anywhere from 4 to 10 venti caramel macchiatos a week. I also will never give up my HD DVR, high speed internet, or my data plan on my phone. Anything else, I can probably live without. Last edited by Kayhold; 07-11-2011 at 06:26 PM. |

We buy dvds...My hubby and I have a big collection(800+ dvds)...we search the flea markets and can get 6 dvds for $20 at most places so we easily spend $200 or more in a trip.

SHEETS! Oh my sheets, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways... Seriously, nothing feels better than quality, high thread count, supima or Egyptian cotton sheets. Smooth, soft, and crisp all at the same time. I'd wear my sheets as clothing if I could. Or stay in bed all day. Sadly, it's not an option. The other day, I found two of my children in my bed-middle of the afternoon-watching t.v. My daughter looked up at me and said, "We like it better in here. You have such soft sheets.

Better than silk sheets that I got... along with silk duvet cover and pillows... the things never stay on the bed and keep sliding off!

I splurge on my family in the Philippines. I have 10 brothers and sisters in PI, and they are very poor. So I send them help all the time. I recently went home to Phil and splurged on them. I took them out to dinner three times - all of them and their families - total in all - 28, and I foot the bill every time. They all had a great time. They never rarely go out. Took them to grocery store and told each one to buy things they need, put a max for each family and they were very appreciative. Here in America, it would take me a week to spend $100, in PI, I was spending $2000 a week.

Coach purses and wallets. I'm also slowing starting to appreciate Dooney and Bourke, but have only acquired two wristlets as of yet. Trader Joe's Organic Mango Passion Granola Cereal - $3.79 for such a small box-but it tastes sooo good. Occasionally, I break my $5 book rule, and spend a little more on a hardback (Twilight Series, Mary Higgins Clark, etc.) or imitation leather cover book (devotionals). A good haircut once every three to four months.

Diet Coke (for me) and Coke (for hubby)...gotta have them ![]() A dozen roses every week for our little girls grave (will never stop doing this) I want to buy new GOOD sheets for our bed but cant bring myself to spend the money :-( Every 4th of July we rent a beach house in Port O Connor for 4 days. I have always spent to much at Christmas, this will be our first Christmas since I started couponing. I'm curious how it will be since I hardly buy anything without a coupon.

I splurge on organic beef and pork. I have a severe allergy to non-oganic beef and pork, so this is something I go out of my way to find.
