Question Can you freeze string cheese?

I"m trying to start some sort of stockpiling on foods now. I"m pregnant and always sick so trying to do what I can on my good days.
My ds loves string cheese and at my Jewel they are on sale The frigo brand, which i never tried but i'm sure is just as good as the Kraft brand.

Anways can I freeze string cheese? If so how ?
How long can I keep them frozen for ? Do they taste the same?

Thanks

Yes, absolutely! If they're individually wrapped inside one big bag, I just throw them right in the freezer like that. They keep for a very long time this way and I've never noticed a taste difference.

I hope you feel better soon!

Ya know, as long as they are wrapped, they last forever in the fridge. I just dug one out from months ago and it it was fine

Another vote for yes. I am not so trusting though, I put them in a freezer bag.

Yep, I do it all the time. And there is no difference in the figaro brand compaired to kraft on taste. IMO anyways.

I freeze them just like I buy them. Have frozen them for up to 6 months and have never had a problem on defrosting or taste.
