i know i deffinetly saved at least $10,000 last year.
and i want to beat that this year!!!

yea. i want to track it better this year. i slacked off alot with record keeping in 2009 so i only reported what my cvs and winn dixie receipts claim i saved.

I have thought about this to. I didn't start couponing until like i think Oct so I think I am going to see what i save for this month and see what happens

I just started really couponing about a third into the year and didn't keep track of anything. I revel in small savings victories for individual shopping trips, but want to do a better job this year of tracking what I'm saving my family. I also know I need to set some shopping restrictions for myself. It doesn't save to buy something when you don't absolutely need it.

So far this year I have saved $241.99, at an average savings rate of 65.44%. I also have a total of $207.17 in rebates coming to me of which $57.00 is from this year. I wanted to keep track a lot better this year to help me stay on budget. I've set a budget of $260.00 per month for groceries, personal items, household items, cleaning products and eating out. I went crazy this weekend on stockpiling, but I still have $132.21 left for the month. I started couponing about 6 months ago, so I'm still learning the tricks of the trade!

Way to go! I am also going to try to keep a better record of the total I save. I already keep a total of what I donate to charity and that report should be out soon, last year it was amazing!
